Automating Report Output
One of gINTs smaller but very useful features is a basic Output / input scripting function. A very good example of this is the creation of an output script, to output ALL logs, graphs, tables etc from a simple double click of a shortcut on the desktop. This can save a great deal of time selecting all shell & auger holes to go out on your shell & auger log, then selecting all rotary holes to go on the rotary log etc. etc.
Script files can also be applied to input from excel or csv files, to automate the import process.
We can generate custom built script files to your specification, to do exactly what you want them to do and save your gINT operators time and effort when importing data and printing / exporting reports.
If you want to get realy "hardcore", we can generate "round trip" scripts, that export data, perform calculations on the data whilst exporting and then import the calculated values back into either the same or a different table. This can be done many times, to give you calculated values bassed on calculated values (not a nice thing to do with a database). The need for round trip scripting has been somewhat superceded with the introduction of Visual Basic with gNIT 8, but import / output scripting is still very useful.
